Everyone wants to do something for the environment and going by bus instead of taking the car is great way of helping. The problem is that the buses just aren't as convenient as you'd like. They don't turn up when you want them and the buss stops are no where near your home.

Instead of the current situation why not have a more personalised bus service. When you want to catch a bus you ring the bus company and they make sure a bus going to where you want calls by your house. When you get on the bus you tell the driver where you want to get off and he stops there for you.
