Make Police Helicopters Quieter

Police helicopters do a great job of helping with law enforcement, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't like the idea of them. There is one problem though - they're just too noisy. No one wants to be woken up in the early hours of the morning by the droning of a helicopter passing over your house. And if that doesn't convince you, think about the criminals the police are after. All it takes is for the criminal to be a light sleeper and he'll be able to hear the law coming a mile off, giving him plenty of time to escape. The answer to all of these problems is to make the helicopters quieter.

Maybe we don't know the technical details of how this proposal might be implemented, but there are a lot of clever people in this country so it shouldn't be long before the police have fleece covered rota blades or some such. We'll certainly be looking forward to the day.
