An aspiring writer, technology addict and verbose blogger who struggles with a podcast habit while trying to find extra fingers to stick in all those pies.

Just by having a browse through this site and a skim over my blog you can probably guess what I like, but here's a quick summary:

I love listening to music of nearly any sort. I use iTunes on my main computer, which I synch' with my phone (an 8Gb memory card in my phone is as good as and smaller than an iPod), and have Winamp running on the media server playing through an FM transmitter so I can hear random music on any radio in the house or garden.

I watch loads of films. Science fiction action is my fav', but I enjoy films about people and tend to watch English, French, Spanish and German movies. I'm also a sucker for anime, mainly because a lot of it is science fiction based.

I read anything I get my eyes on. I don't read as much as I would like due to other things getting in the way. Again my books are mostly science fiction, with some fantasy and the odd factual.

I am trying to write some half decent stories, mainly science fiction, but some fan stuff and a bit of fantasy.

I'm a bit of geek as far as computers go. I mess around with them, and have plenty of gadgets. Most are, however, there for a purpose. Honest.

If I wasn't already enough of a geek I also do some online gaming and boardgaming.

I really like pictures and art in general, unfortunately I'm about as good at drawing as I am at singing (and I'm not just saying that, I'm tone deaf and flatter than a flat thing that's been steamrollered). Just so I can tease myself with stuff I'd love to be able to draw I hang around on DeviantArt.

As a lot of my friends use Facebook (although less these days), Myspace isn't updated as much, but I do use it for listening to new music.
