My music has now gone multi room - a truly wonderful thing.

This started off with Apple's Airport Express. I was using this in the kitchen and it allowed me to listen to music while I cooked. I combined this with RemoteAmp letting me to control things via my palmtop.

Then one of my friends suggested an FM broadcaster. I plugged this in to my media server and moved the Airport to the sitting room. This gave me music on two different streams, and the FM transmitter means I can listen to the same music in the any room with just a cheap radio.

Since then I've also purchased a Phillips Media Streamer and put this in the sitting room (doing what the Airport did, but with an on-screen display). I've also put a TV in the study that is linked to the media server, which is now controlled via a remote. The Airport is now in the dining room. This means I can run three different music streams at once.
